What is Knotafish ?
Knotafish is a small instrument making company
specializing in the strange and unusual. Let me clarify that a little,
Knotafish is small in the number of employees not the size of the
instruments. Actually Knotafish consist of one person, Me (Eric Davis).
I'm a strong believer in the philosophy that one mans junk is another
mans treasure. Help out the Environment!!!!! 
Knotafish tries to use as many previously used products that would
otherwise end up in landfills. So you know when you play a Knotafish
instrument you are not only cool and unique you are doing your part
to save the planet. Check out the gallery!!!! I am going to try to keep a photo record of Knotafish players and their instruments. If you have built anything using Knotafish parts please send a picture of you with your finished product so we can add you to our gallery. |
What
is with the name ? Man, I get that question a lot. Well here we go: Most of what I make are basses and the instrument is spelled the same as the fish, but it is not a fish. Get it ? Anyway, I through the "K" in front because I thought it would make a cool logo. Wanna make a keg bass?  Well you are going to need a keg. Check out Sabco at http://www.kegs.com . Be sure to tell the that Eric from Knotafish said to ask for one of the beat up barrel kegs in the dumpster. Don't worry they come all nice and clean.  Looking for somthing more traditional?
